Schalk is a co-founder and co-owner at Pieterse Sellner Erasmus TRM Tax Attorneys, where he holds the position of Managing Director. With a seasoned team of tax attorneys and professionals under his guidance, Schalk excels in strategizing and navigating intricate tax law disputes, especially where they intertwine administrative law and constitutional law matters.

As a dedicated and accomplished Tax Attorney, Schalk specializes in tax controversy and adeptly handles tax court and high court litigation. Notably, he is studying for his PhD in tax and constitutional law, and co-authoring a book on the Tax Administration Act alongside esteemed international tax expert, Dr. Daniel Erasmus.

Schalk passionately shares his knowledge as a tax law lecturer at IITF, and an affiliated educator of SAIT.

Outside the realm of law, Schalk finds joy in his passions, including an attempt at golf, `running`, and enjoying cherished moments with friends. Above all, he treasures the time with his beautiful girls; his wife Landi and daughters Amika and Anabelle.
